US Light Tank M3A1 Stuart Expansion set (6265)

American light tank M3 (named «Stuart» in British army after American Civil War Confederate general J. E. B. Stuart) was developed during late 1930-s – early 1940-s and entered army service in 1941. The production of M3 «Stuart» continued until 1944 and more than 20000 of them were produced. These tanks were supplied through Lend-Lease to British and Soviet armies, as wel as several other Allied armies. M3 light tanks took part in numerous battles all over the world.
